BYTTB TKO Hard Candy Dec 07, 2008 Cyndi's Bring ya to the Brink is far better than Madonna's Hard Candy. Cyndi's finally back at the Disco and that is where she is at her best. All the songs here are great; the best track is Into the Nightlife. Put this cd in and put on your dancin shoes cause you just can't help but dance to every song on this cd. Cyndi Rocks!!!!!!

This New C.L. CD Dec 03, 2008 I think this cd samples sounds great. But I think Madonna and Cyndi sound good, But, Madonna is my favorite since I was 4.
I'm not really a Cyndi fan, but, i like this CD and would want to get it, cause I like dance music, and sounds kinda punk.
I'm into punk nd my mom dosent think I am. Cause I'm almost 30. but I think I can be anything I want.
I diffanly want to get this cd.
But, i heard it first here.

Sterling Effort From One Of Pop's Most Underrated Artists Nov 12, 2008 Hard to believe it's been twenty five years since Cyndi Lauper burst onto the scene with "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". Even harder to believe her career trajectory, especially considering another young singer who surfaced around that time(and was considered even more of a flash in the pan than Lauper) went on to become the most successful female artist of all time. Yep, while Madonna went on to basically conquer the pop world, Lauper(a far more gifted vocalist) went on to release so-so albums(uh A NIGHT TO REMEMBER, "I Drove All Night" and "Heading West" notwithstanding) and act in REALLY bad movies (VIBES anyone? Didn't think so). So it's utterly refreshing to report that in BRING YA TO THE BRINK, Lauper has released easily her best album since SHE'S SO UNUSUAL and one of the best dance albums in some time. Hooking up with edgy dance DJs (Scumfrog and Richard Morel) as well as electronic pop upstarts(Dragonette), Lauper sets her typically smart lyrical content to twisted dance beats with sparkling results. Highlights include the propulsive "Into The Nightlife" as well as "Grab A Hold", "Give It Up", and "Set Your Heart", on top of the gorgeous melancholy of "Rain On Me". All in all, BRING YA TO THE BRINK offers proof that you'd be hard-pressed to find a career renaissance more richly deserving than that of Lauper.

Cyndi's Still Got It! Oct 22, 2008 This has got to be my favorite cd of 2008. It's the cd that Madonna should have made instead of "Hard Candy". It's nothing but pure dance music fun. From the 2 club singles "Same Ol' Story" & "Into the Nightlife" to my favorites "Rocking Chair" & "Set Your Heart", it's pure ear candy. Put it on & get ready to dance & be put into a wonderful mood. It's full of excellant production from some the world's best remixers!
